First of all, I wish you all a very Happy New year. As we step into 2021 and gradually trying to free ourselves from the clutches of COVID 19 Pandemic that brought a catastrophe in all of our lives in 2020, we are slowly on the path to resume back to the same normalcy. I think this the best time to enlarge our learning horizons and I hope through Genesis Publication’s new Journal of Surgery and Medicine it can be achieved where we can exchange our experiences and move forward.

This Journal is dedicated to publishing reports on all aspects of surgery, anesthesia and medicine, and it’s an honour for me to participate and contribute for the same. This Journal provides a really exciting opportunity to consider the truly interdisciplinary nature of Surgical & medicinal practices.

The objective of Genesis Journal of Surgery and Medicine is to publish up-to-date, high-quality and original research papers alongside relevant and insightful reviews. This Journal also invites the inclusion of clinical and experimental papers, point of technique, case series, and short technical notes serving the information needs of investigators in various fields of operative medicine. Although the journal aspires to be lively, interactive, accessible, at the same time, we can assure that it will be comprehensive and challenging, for everyone involved in this enlightening process.

All types of papers, however, will be subject to the journal’s single-blinded peer-review process dedicated to promote the highest standards of scientific exchange and education.

Needless to say, any papers that you wish to submit, either individually or collaboratively, are much appreciated and will make a substantial contribution to the early development and success of the journal. I wish you all the best and thank you in advance for your contribution towards the Journal.
